Shortly after 10 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2014, a 7-year-old Victorville boy was killed in a DUI, hit-and-run crash in the Cajon Pass in San Bernardino County, reported the Orange County Register. While traveling northbound on I-15 in a 2008 GMC Sierra, 21-year-old Armando Barragan, of Buena Park, rear-ended the 1998 Saturn in which the boy was riding and fled the scene. The impact sent the Saturn into a guardrail. Emergency responders transported the boy, his 5-year-old sister, and his mother, 29-year-old Kimberly Cannon-Willey, to the hospital. He succumbed to his injuries on arrival. Authorities apprehended Barragan and arrested him on suspicion of DUI and hit-and-run resulting in death.
