The accident occurred in the parking lot of a Stater Brothers located at Goldenwest Street and Warner Avenue. One of the drivers involved in the accident, Luis Gregorio, stated that he was turning left in his Chevrolet S10 truck when the Maserati struck him, the impact causing the truck to rollover. At least one person was injured in the collision, reported the Orange County Register.
