Irvine Rollover Accident Injured Five

On the afternoon of Tuesday, November 9^th, a rollover accident in Irvine on the northbound I-5 Freeway near Jeffrey Road left five people injured. While it is not yet clear exactly how many vehicles were involved, what is known is that a black Ford Expedition and a white Cadillac Escalade collided, the impacted causing the Escalade to overturn, injuring the four occupants inside, the two adults seriously. The driver of the Expedition and the two children riding in the Escalade sustained minor injuries, explains an Orange County auto accident lawyer. 

Irvine accounted for 5 of the 152 fatal and 840 of the 13,414 injury traffic collisions that occurred in Orange County in 2008, according to the California Highway Patrol’s Annual Report of Fatal and Injury Motor Vehicle Traffic Collisions. A recent study found that 50% of the nation’s most dangerous roads are located in California, with the I-5 ranking among the most deadly freeways.
