Lake Elsinore: Three Injured in Rollover Accident

At about 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, January 3, three people were injured in a rollover accident in Lake Elsinore. While traveling northbound on Interstate 15, a vehicle left the road near Lake Street and rolled down an embankment. Emergency responders transported three occupants to hospitals, their injuries ranging from minor to major. Authorities are investigating the accident.

“When an accident results in trauma, the victims may pursue personal injury claims against the negligent driver in order to obtain compensation for the expenses associated with their recoveries,” explained California car accident lawyer James Ballidis, “including for medical bills, lost wages, and pain and suffering.”

Lake Elsinore accounted for 4 of the 164 fatalities and 198 of the 10,594 injuries suffered by motor vehicle occupants in traffic accidents that occurred in Riverside County in 2010, according to the California Highway Patrol’s Statewide Integrated Traffic Records System. The California Office of Traffic Safety compares the accident data of cities with populations of a similar size, ranking those with the poorest records the highest, with 1st place considered the worst. That year, Lake Elsinore ranked 64th out of 103 cities of a similar size.

All of us at Allen, Flatt, Ballidis, and Leslie would like to wish a full recovery to the three people who were injured in the rollover accident.

The Press-Enterprise originally reported this Lake Elsinore crash.
