Shortly after 5 p.m. yesterday, a gray Mazda, a gray-and-black Jeep, and a white Mazda were involved in a car accident at the intersection of Lake Forest Drive and Rockfield Boulevard in Lake Forest. Two individuals were critically injured, one of whom firefighters had to extricate from the wreckage. They were taken to a nearby hospital. The cause of the accident is under investigation, explains an Orange County car accident attorney.
Throughout Orange County, 13,414 people were injured in collisions, 169 of them in Lake Forest, according to California Highway Patrol (CHP) records for 2008. A recent study by Allstate Insurance Company ranked California cities among the most dangerous for drivers in the nation.
Everyone at Allen, Flatt, Ballidis, and Leslie would like to wish the two people critically injured in yesterday’s Lake Forest car accident a full recovery.
