On the afternoon of Sunday, August 17, 2014, two people were injured in a crash in Newport Beach, reported the Daily Pilot. The collision, which involved a silver Range Rover and a black Jeep, occurred at Jamboree Road and University Drive. Emergency responders extricated two vehicle occupants from the wreckage and transported them to the hospital to receive treatment for moderate injuries. The accident is under investigation.

Newport Beach accounted for 6 of the 88 fatalities and 422 of the 17,182 injuries motor vehicle occupants suffered in crashes that occurred in Orange County in 2011, according to the California Highway Patrol’s most current crash statistics. In a comparison of the accident records of 102 similarly sized cities, the California Office of Traffic Safety ranked Newport Beach the 9th worst for fatal and injury crashes.

Motorists who are injured in collisions may file personal injury claims against the at-fault parities in order to be compensated for their recovery-related expenses. To learn more, please call 888-752-7474 or contact us online.

All of us at Allen, Flatt, Ballidis, and Leslie would like to wish a full recovery to the two people who were injured in this crash.
