On the afternoon of Sunday, August 17, 2014, two people were injured in a crash in Newport Beach, reported the Daily Pilot. The collision, which involved a silver Range Rover and a black Jeep, occurred at Jamboree Road and University Drive. Emergency responders extricated two vehicle occupants from the wreckage and transported them to the hospital to receive treatment for moderate injuries. The accident is under investigation.
