At about 9:45 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, the male driver of an SUV was fatally injured in a hit-and-run accident in Orange, reported the Orange County Register. The man, who was in his 20s, was driving a Ford Explorer on North Tustin Street when he collided with a Ford pickup truck between East Chestnut and East Vanowen avenues. The impact caused the SUV to roll over, ejecting the driver. Emergency responders transported him to an area hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. His 18-year-old female passenger was injured. The driver of the truck fled the scene. Authorities are investigating the accident.
