Oxnard: Six Suffered Trauma in Collision
Shortly after 11 p.m. on Friday, January 12, six people suffered trauma in a collision in Oxnard. The three-vehicle crash occurred near the intersection of Cypress and Pleasant Valley Roads. Emergency responders transported the victims to hospitals to receive treatment for moderate injuries. Authorities are investigating the accident.
“Those who have been injured in a collision may file personal injury claims in order to hold the negligent driver liable for the expenses associated with their recoveries,” explained California car accident lawyer James Ballidis, “including for medical bills, lost wages, and pain and suffering.”
Oxnard accounted for 3 of the 37 fatalities and 1,218 of the 4,441 injuries suffered by motor vehicle occupants in crashes that occurred in Ventura County in 2010, according to the California Highway Patrol’s Statewide Integrated Traffic Records System. The California Office of Traffic Safety ranked Oxnard 6th out of 53 cities with populations ranging from 100,001 to 250,000 for its incidence of fatal and injury accidents that year; 1st place is the worst possible ranking.
All of us at Allen, Flatt, Ballidis, and Leslie would like to wish a full recovery to the six people who suffered trauma in the collision.
The Ventura County Star originally reported this Oxnard crash.
