A Lakewood man died from his injuries ten days after his motorcycle was struck by an SUV.  This is the second accident to occur between a motorcycle and an SUV that caused death.  Motorcycles are particularly susceptable to accidents with trucks and SUV'S because the view of the driver is sometimes obstructed.  Additionally, many owners of SUv vehicles are not familiar with driving a larger truck, having only driven cars before.  SUV collisions account for a significant number of accidents in Orange County.
