SUV’s turn deadly for Los Angeles-area motorcyclists

A Lakewood man died from his injuries ten days after his motorcycle was struck by an SUV.  This is the second accident to occur between a motorcycle and an SUV that caused death.  Motorcycles are particularly susceptable to accidents with trucks and SUV'S because the view of the driver is sometimes obstructed.  Additionally, many owners of SUv vehicles are not familiar with driving a larger truck, having only driven cars before.  SUV collisions account for a significant number of accidents in Orange County.

A motorcyclist that has been involved in an accident has several important rights, including the right to seek quality medical care, even if they do not have medical insurance.  Motorcycle rider rights may not be limited simply because the rider was not wearing a helmet.  Evaluation of motorcycle cases, and the worth of personal injury is the same as in a car accident.
