At about 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2014, a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a truck in Wildomar, reported The Press-Enterprise. The crash occurred at Bundy Canyon Road and Cherry Street east of I-215. As of Wednesday morning, the motorcycle rider was in serious but stable condition. Authorities are investigating the accident and have asked that anyone with additional information about it call them at 951-245-3300.
Traffic collisions claimed the lives of or caused injury to 72 people in Wildomar in 2011, according to the California Office of Traffic Safety’s most current records. Six of the victims were motorcyclists. Compared to 93 other similarly sized cities, Wildomar ranked 68th for motor vehicle collisions and 27th for motorcycle accidents in a ranking system in which 1st place is considered the worst.
