How long will my case take?

A: Most cases in our office are settled within 6 to 9 months of our retention as an attorney. When we are hired, we immediately start collecting police reports, medical bills, medical records, wage loss evidence, and past medical history records that are relevant to your case. Unlike other law offices, before we make a settlement demand, we like to understand the entirety of your case. This greatly enhances our ability to settle the case once the demand has been submitted. Not all cases are alike, and therefore, some cases take longer. Complex liability questions, past medical history, and insurance coverage disputes may require that case to enter litigation. In those cases, it is rare that our office has not resolved the case within one year after filing the complaint either by settlement or trial.
