At about 8:52 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2014, 61-year-old Moises Guerra, of Rancho Cucamonga, was killed in a crash with a semi truck in Beaumont, reported The Press-Enterprise. The driver of the truck, Hongwen Yen, pulled into the slow lane of eastbound Highway 60 from a wide turnout and into the path of Guerra’s Volvo about a quarter-mile east of Jack Rabbit Trail. The impact sent the Volvo down an embankment. Guerra was pronounced dead at the scene.
