In a recent article, it was noted that over the 15 years Metrolink's system killed 218 people, according to a detailed examination of accident records by The Times. Many more people sustained nonfatal injuries.
Metrolink has done nothing to address these accidents and fatalities. According to this writer, two intersections are particularly dangerous. The public should be made aware of these dangers and Metrolink must take a more active role in stopping accidents from occurring.
