Devore: Two-Vehicle Accident Injured Six

Shortly before 10 p.m. on Friday, July 25, 2014, six people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Devore, reported The Press-Enterprise. The crash occurred at Devore Road and Cajon Boulevard. Emergency responders transported the victims to area hospitals to receive treatment for injuries ranging from minor to major. Authorities are investigating the collision.
Traffic accidents claimed the lives of or caused injury to 11,627 people in San Bernardino County in 2011, according to the California Office of Traffic Safety. The OTS ranked San Bernardino 38th out of 58 counties for the number of fatal and injury crashes that occurred there; 1st place is the worst possible ranking. Collisions occurring between 9 p.m. and 2:59 a.m. accounted for 1,047 of the injuries and deaths suffered in crashes.
