Fullerton: Two-Car Crash Injured Four

At about 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 11, a crash involving two cars, a Honda Prelude and a Toyota Corolla, injured four people in Fullerton, reported the Orange County Register. While traveling westbound on Bastanchury Road, one of the cars collided with the other vehicle as it turned left into St. Jude Medical Center, west of Morelia Avenue. Firefighters had to extricate a female passenger from the Toyota. Emergency responders transported the woman, as well as three men, to area hospitals. Authorities are investigating the accident.
Motor vehicle collisions claimed the lives of or caused injury to 823 people in Fullerton in 2010, according to the California Office of Traffic Safety’s most current accident data. The OTS ranked Fullerton 9th out of 53 cities with populations of between 100,001 and 250,000 residents for its incidence of fatal and injury crashes in a rating system in which 1st place is considered the worst.
