Fullerton: 91 Freeway Accident Injured Three
Posted on Mar 05, 2012
Shortly before 9 p.m. on Sunday, March 5th, an accident involving multiple vehicles on the 91 Freeway in Fullerton injured three people. The crash occurred when a vehicle struck the center divider and another car collided with a sport utility vehicle. Paramedics transported the three injured vehicle occupants to local hospitals. Several lanes of the freeway were closed until shortly before 10:00 p.m. while authorities investigated.
“Collecting evidence from the scene immediately after the accident can prove pivotal to determining its cause,” explains an auto accident lawyer in Orange County.
Fullerton accounted for 7 of the 101 fatalities and 890 of the 16,620 injuries suffered by motor vehicle occupants in traffic accidents in Orange County in 2009, according to the California Highway Patrol’s Statewide Integrated Traffic Records System. The California Office of Traffic Safety compares the accident statistics of cities with similarly sized populations, giving those with the poorest records the highest rankings, with 1st place considered the worst. That year, Fullerton ranked 9th out of 53 cities for fatal and injury crashes.
All of us at Allen, Flatt, Ballidis, and Leslie would like to wish the three people who were injured in the 91 Freeway accident a full recovery.
