Huntington Beach: Two Injured in Truck Crash

Posted on May 19, 2014

At about 6:25 a.m. on Monday, May 19, 2014, two people were injured in a truck crash in Huntington Beach, reported the Orange County Register. While traveling westbound on Adams Avenue, a Dodge pickup truck collided with a Toyota Tundra that was traveling northbound on Bushard Street, the impact causing the Dodge to flip and sending it crashing through a brick and wood fence. Emergency responders transported the two male drivers to area hospitals. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.

Throughout Huntington Beach, motor vehicle collisions claimed the lives of or caused injury to 1,510 people in 2011, the most current year for which California Office of Traffic Safety statistics are available. Huntington Beach ranked the worst in the state for fatal and injury traffic accidents for a city its size that year. Across California, traffic fatalities increased 1.5 percent from 2,816 in 2011 to 2,857 in 2012.

After a crash, those who were injured may file personal injury claims against the at-fault party in order to be compensated for their recovery-related expenses, such as for medical bills, lost wages, and pain and suffering. For more information, please call 888-752-7474 or contact us online.
