Jurupa Valley: Abraham Rendon Killed in Crash

On Tuesday, October 14, 2014, 30-year-old Abraham Rendon, of Ontario, was killed in a crash in Jurupa Valley, reported The Press-Enterprise. While traveling westbound on Etiwanda Avenue in a Lexus, Rendon was involved in a collision with a Jeep that was heading northbound on Cantu-Galleano Ranch Road. He was taken to Riverside Community Hospital, where he succumbed to the trauma he suffered a short time later. Authorities are investigating the accident and have asked that anyone with additional information about it call them at 951-955-2600.
With a population of 153 people, Jurupa Valley was the location of 4 fatal and 207 injury motor vehicle collisions in 2011, according to the California Highway Patrol’s most current crash data. Traffic collisions of all types claimed 7 lives and caused injury to 222 people in the city that year. Throughout Riverside County, motor vehicle collisions accounted for 153 of the 203 fatal and 10,025 of the 10,727 injury accidents that occurred that year.
