Man struck by white van that flees scene in Santa Ana California.

Santa Ana, California - On October 31, 2009, a 62-year-old man in a wheelchair was struck just after dusk by a white van of no description on 500 E. Wellington Ace.  The man was severely injured, but the van fled the scene.  There is no description of the van, but it probably has front end damage because it hit the wheelchair.  
If you have information about the driver or the van, please call the Santa Ana Police Department at 714-245-8701 to help bring this victim some justice.  Our streets are dangerous, and as long as people feel they will not be apprehended, they will run from an accident.  Only the public can help, and improve our community.
