Menifee: Two Injured in Auto Accident

At about 3:49 p.m. on Sunday, July 13, 2014, two people were injured in an auto accident in Menifee, reported The Press-Enterprise. The two-vehicle crash occurred at Watson and Menifee roads. Emergency responders transported two people to the hospital, one for minor injuries and the other for major. Authorities are investigating the crash.
In Menifee, 200 hundred people lost their lives or were injured in auto accidents in 2011, according to the California Office of Traffic Safety. The OTS ranked Menifee 78th out of 102 cities of a similar size for its incidence of fatal and injury collisions that year; 1st place is the worst possible ranking. Throughout Riverside County, 10,924 people were killed or injured in accidents.
