Moreno Valley: Car Crashed into Tree, Injuring Six

At about 2:25 a.m. on Sunday, August 17, 2014, a car crashed into a tree in Moreno Valley, injuring six people, reported The Press-Enterprise. The accident occurred near Championship Drive and Dunes Way, east of Moreno Beach Drive and north of Lake Perris. One of the vehicle occupant’s injuries were major. Emergency responders transported the six accident victims to the hospital. Authorities are investigating the accident.

Fifty-eight of the accidents that resulted in injury or death in the city occurred between the hours of 9 p.m. and 2:59 a.m. Alcohol was a factor in 89 of the crashes and speeding in 134.
