Motorcyclist Dragged 30 Feet In 91 Freeway Motorcycle Crash

A motorcyclist is in critical condition after being dragged 30 feet in an Orange County motorcycle accident.
 
The crash occurred on Monday, July 25 at 4:45 p.m. on the eastbound 91 freeway west of Gypsum Canyon Road.
 
The motorcyclist was splitting lanes between the No. 1 and No. 2 lanes and was travelling at a faster rate of speed than the surrounding traffic.   A driver of a Toyota Camry moved into the No. 1 lane and hit the motorcycle. The motorcyclist was thrown from his bike into the No. 2 toll lane.  He was struck by a Jeep Liberty and thrown back into the No. 1 lane.  In the No. 1 toll lane, the victim was struck by a BMW and dragged under the vehicle for 30 feet.
 
The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital in critical condition. No one else was injured.
 
The cause of the 91 freeway motorcycle crash is under investigation.
