Multi-vehicle Crash in Orange Leaves Family of Five Hospitalized

One O.C. family won't be enjoying this weekend's fireworks.  A mom and four of her children are hospitalized after a crash on the eastbound 22 in Orange.
 
The Orange County car accident occurred at about 9:21 a.m. on Thursday, June 30 on eastbound 22 just east of Fairview Street.  Traffic had slowed down and a Pacific Seafood box truck was not able to stop in time.  It slammed into a Cadillac CTS and pushed the Cadillac into a Dodge Caravan van.
 
The driver of the Pacific Seafood truck was uninjured as were the occupants of the van.  But, the family of five inside the Cadillac was not so lucky.  A mom; three daughters ages 13, 10, and 6; and a nine-month-old baby boy were taken from the scene by ambulance.
 
A mother; her three daughters, and her 9-month-old son were to the hospital in three ambulances. There is no word on their condition.
 
The Orange accident attorneys at Allen, Flatt, Ballidis and Leslie wish the family a fast and full recovery.
The accident is still under investigation.
