Pedestrian child killed by pickup.

On February 5, 2010, Mandy Reaz, a 13 year old young girl unfortunately lost her life. She was apparently on Mission Trail Road and struck by a pick up truck while crossing the roadway. It is unclear at this time whether investigation has turned up a cause of the accident.
 
Pedestrian accidents frequently wrench our children from our life unnecessarily and prematurely. More needs to be done in the state of California to reduce pedestrian accidents. Pedestrian accidents causing death in the state have remained the same year over year according to California Highway Patrol statistics.
