Pedestrians injured after two cars crash in Orange

The crash occurred at about 12:36 pm on Thursday, May 13. The crash involved a Kia Rio and a Dodge Neon that collided near the intersection of Main Street and Palm Avenue in Orange.
The driver of the Kia was headed southbound on Main Street and then turned left onto Palm Avenue and struck the Dodge. The Dodge was travelling north on Main Street. The Dodge then struck two pedestrians who were walking north on Main Street. One pedestrian was walking a dog. The Dodge also hit a pole before coming to a stop. Police say that four people were injured and that one of the pedestrians was taken to the hospital for treatment. The condition of the pedestrian is not known at this time.
The dog was taken to O.S. Shelter and is doing fine.
In 2008, 49 people were injured in pedestrian accidents in Orange. Only one died. In Orange County, 785 pedestrians were injured and 31 died.
