Placentia Police Impounded 22 Cars In Under 7 Hours

During a DUI and driver's license checkpoint conducted between 6 p.m. last Friday and 12:30 the following Saturday, Placentia police issued 32 citations, impounded 22 cars, and made one arrest for driving under the influence, reported the Orange County Register.
The checkpoint was funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration. DUI checkpoints will be erected in Orange County cities through Labor Day, according to an Orange County accident attorney.
