Reseda: Crash Near High School Injured Two

Shortly after 8 a.m. on Friday, March 28, 2014, a crash near Reseda High School left two people injured in that city, reported KTLA.com. The collision, which involved two vehicles, occurred near the intersection of Etiwanda Avenue and Victory Boulevard, the impact causing one of the vehicles to overturn. Emergency responders transported a female victim to the hospital. One other person was injured but was not taken to the hospital. The accident is under investigation. 

 

The California Office of Traffic Safety’s most current crash data indicate that 72,593 people were killed or injured in motor vehicle collisions that occurred in Los Angles County in 2011. The OTS ranked Los Angeles 9th out of the state’s 58 counties for the number of crashes resulting in injury or death that occurred there that year; 1st place is the worst possible ranking. Statewide, traffic accidents claimed 2,791 lives.
