At about 5:15 a.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2014, a semi crash on I-210 in Rialto killed one person and left three others injured, reported The Press-Enterprise. While traveling eastbound in the number three lane, the driver of the semi, 54-year-old Sukhdev Singh Bains, veered onto the shoulder east of Alder Avenue, where he rear-ended a silver Lincoln Navigator. One person who was standing outside of the SUV suffered major trauma and another person who was inside the vehicle sustained moderate injuries. Another occupant of the SUV, a 60-year-old Pasadena resident, was fatally ejected. Bains suffered minor injuries. The crash is under investigation.
