Riverside: Vehicle Struck and Injured Pedestrian

On the afternoon of Monday, October 6, 2014, a vehicle struck and injured a pedestrian in Riverside, reported The Press-Enterprise. The accident occurred in the 7300 block of Indiana Avenue near Washington Street. The victim was receiving treatment for the trauma he suffered. Authorities are investigating the crash.
Traffic accidents claimed the lives of or caused injury to 1,327 people in Riverside in 2011, according to the California Office of Traffic Safety. Sixty-one of the victims were pedestrians.
