Santa Clarita: Fatal Pedestrian Accident Involving “NCIS: Los Angeles”
Posted on Feb 09, 2011
Shortly after 10:00 a.m. this morning, a fatal pedestrian accident occurred during the filming of “NCIS: Los Angeles,” a CBS crime show. The incident occurred in the 25200 block of Anza Drive. The pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital, however, did not survive the injuries sustained in the accident. Authorities have not released further details, explains a California personal injury lawyer.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Traffic Safety Facts, 4,092 pedestrians were killed and 59,000 injured in traffic accidents in 2009, the most recent year for which the agency has released accident statistics. The majority of the fatalities occurred at nonintersection locations, while most of the injuries were sustained in intersections. Fatal and injury accidents occurred with the greatest frequency between the hours of 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.
All of us at Allen, Flatt, Ballidis, and Leslie would like to offer our condolences to the family of the pedestrian who was killed during the filming of “NCIS: Los Angeles” this morning.
The Los Angeles Times originally reported this fatal pedestrian accident.
