Toys R Us rig snarls traffic when overturns on the 10 freeway

A Toys R. Us big rig truck slammed into six vehicles on the I10 freeway just at the 605 freeway in Southern California this morning.  Traffic was hindered by debris and disabled cars for most of the morning.  Big rig trucks can cause significant damage on our freeways, particularly when they overturned. It is difficult for automobile drivers to avoid these trucks careening across multiple lanes of travel.

Several people were injured and taken to the hospital, but it is unclear the full extent of their injuries. The CHP is investigating the accident is determined the cause.
