Semi truck carrying almonds collisdes with another truck causing giant mess on California Insterstate 10.

Southern California Accident News

Trucks collide and almonds spill onto road in Southern California.

Posted on Nov 17, 2009

Last night two big-rigs semi trucks on Interstate 10 near Whitewater California.  Both truck drivers were injured and taken to the hospital.  One of the rigs was carrying almonds that spilled onto the highway.  The accident is under investigation by the CHP.

When semi trucks collide, injury is usual to follow.  The mass of these rigs and velocity with which they strike, causes violent collisions even when posed against each other.  The freeway was closed for a short time to allow clean up.
