Woman loses control and strikes big rig causing her death.

Posted on Dec 04, 2009

A semi truck crashed into a 69-year-old Fontana woman, causing her death Thursday in Ontario, California. The wreck was reported early Thursday morning on Jurupa Street west of Etiwanda Avenue. The victim's name has not been released. Apparently the woman whose identity is being withheld to notify next of kin, drove across opposite lanes and struck a semi-truck.

An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway, and an autoposy may be necessary to see if the woman suffered from any sudden and unexpected medical event.
