Yorba Linda: Rollover Accident Injured 6 People
Posted on Jun 24, 2011
Shortly before 10:40 a.m. this morning, a rollover accident in Yorba Linda injured 6 people. A Chevrolet Suburban and a Dodge Magnum collided on the 91 Freeway, the impact causing the sport utility vehicle to roll once, ejecting one of its passengers. All five of the occupants sustained injuries in the crash and were transported to a local hospital for treatment. One of the occupants of the Magnum was also injured, explains an Orange County car accident attorney.
Yorba Linda accounted for 145 of the 18,867 fatal and injury motor vehicle traffic accidents that occurred in Orange County in 2009, according to the California Office of Traffic Safety’s most recently recorded accident statistics. That year, 24,474 vehicle occupants were killed and 2,011,000 were injured in crashes across the country, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, NHTSA.
All of us at Allen, Flatt, Ballidis, and Leslie would like to wish the 6 people who were injured this morning in the rollover accident a full recovery.
