Yucaipa: Motorist Struck, Injured Cyclist

Shortly before 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 9, 2014, a motorist struck and injured a male cyclist in Yucaipa, reported The Press-Enterprise. The accident occurred in the 12000 block of Seventh Street. Emergency responders transported the man to a hospital to receive treatment for his injuries. Authorities are investigating the accident.
Traffic accidents claimed the lives of or caused injury to 135 people in Yucaipa in 2011, according to the California Office of Traffic Safety’s most current crash data. Bicyclists accounted for 9 of the victims.
