One injured in three collisions on Interstate 10 in Thousand Palms


Three separate collisions on Interstate 10 left one person injured Tuesday morning. According to the California Highway Patrol, a series of three collisions on Interstate 10 began about 7:45 a.m. near Bob Hope Drive Tuesday.

An accident on Bryan Street caused minor injuries Wednesday afternoon. According to the Palo Alto Police Department, a collision on Bryant Street occurred about 1 p.m. in the 400 block.

A pedestrian was critically injured Sunday morning when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver at a Sacramento intersection. According to the Sacramento Police Department, a 45-year-old man was walking across the street in a crosswalk at the intersection of Dias Avenue and Stockton Boulevard when he was struck by a dark-colored sedan.

Three injured in two-vehicle wreck on Route 395 in Ridgecrest


A rear-end collision on California Route 395 left three people injured Saturday afternoon. According to the California Highway Patrol, a Suzuki was traveling south on California Route 395 when it slowed to turn onto Trona Road.

Novato boy, 5, struck, injured in Novato hit-and-run accident


A young boy was injured Sunday when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Novato. According to the Novato Police Department, a 5-year-old boy from Novato was walking across the street at 3 Hutchins Way when he was struck by a dark-colored minivan.

Victor Gomez-Mendoza, 30, killed in San Jose accident on U.S. 101


A rollover accident on U.S. Route 101 killed one man and injured at least two others Monday morning. According to the California Highway Patrol, a Chevrolet Trailblazer was traveling north on U.S. Route 101 when it came onto the exit ramp to eastbound Capitol Expressway. About 4:45 a.m. the SUV flipped ejecting two of its eight passengers.

Bee Xiong, 33, killed in motorcycle wreck on 20th Street in Merced


A 33-year-old motorcyclist was killed Friday afternoon when he crashed into a parked truck on 20th Street. According to the Merced Police Department, 33-year-old Bee Xiong was driving his motorcycle east on East 20th Street when he suddenly accelerated. While traveling about 75 miles per hour he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into the back end of a parked truck.

Bicyclist struck, injured on Avenida Salvador in San Clemente


A bicyclist was injured Thursday morning when he was struck at a San Clemente intersection. According to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, a bicyclist was riding toward the intersection of Avenida Salvador and Avenida San Juan when he was struck by a vehicle about 8:05 a.m.

Stuntman critically burned at film shoot above Dodge Stadium in L.A.


A film shoot went wrong Friday afternoon when a stuntman was hospitalized with critical burns. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, a Mountain Dew commercial was being shot above Dodger Stadium at 3500 Academy Road when an explosive powder misfired.

Bonnie Watkins, 37, Kyle Gleeson, 32, seriously hurt in semi wreck


A rear-end collision with semi left three El Mirage, Arizona, residents injured early Friday morning. According to the California Highway Patrol, 32-year-old Kyle Gleeson was driving a van west on Interstate 10 in the left lane as Cheryl Garcia-Ward, 53, of Riverside drove a semi in the right lane.
