The 405 Freeway is the major corridor going all the way from Southern, South Orange County all the way up to the west end of Los Angeles. So there is a huge amount of truck traffic there that are involved in accidents. And then we have two passes that routinely cause accidents, the Cajon Pass and the Grapevine. Both of them, we would think that we would see less accidents because modern braking systems in trucks has gotten so much better, no, we are seeing more, because truck drivers are less trained, ill-prepared, they are coming down these grades and these slopes, their tail getting behind the cars. If you have driven it, you know what I am talking about, when you are looking in your rear view mirror and all you see is grill and you can just tell that they are not going to stop if you have to stop. So these are the areas that are the most danger I think for truck accidents.
Automobile accidents, it’s everywhere. You just keep a defensive posture about everything you do, because every freeway in Orange County and Los Angeles is potentially going to cause an accident because we are not just coming through particular interchange, we are not just coming through particularly a narrow place on a freeway, the fact is traffic is stopping and going and stopping and going and that’s the number one cause, and then the other thing is people traveling in HOV lanes now, which is on every freeway in Orange County and some in LA County. They’re going along at a good speed, somebody is impatient in the lanes to the right, and so they just drive over and hit a car. We have a lot of that.
